The longer we stayed the worse the rash got. Leo started to swell up, and became a bit tachycardic and hypotensive.
He ended up with an IV line, intramuscular adrenaline, and an emergency ambulance transfer to Seattle Children's Emergency Room.
He was well looked after in the ER and quickly improved.
Fortunately Leo felt much better when he woke up close to lunchtime on Tuesday. His bravery was rewarded with Lego.
Today he was back to his usual self. Here he is playing with Isobel in his new house.
