Bottle top

Here's Leo posing in his new summer outfit.
Leo has figured out that the lid goes on and comes off his bottle. He spent ages today trying to do it himself.

Getting better all the time

Leo woke up feeling much better today. Here he is enjoying opening his post from Grandma and Grandad.

Leo wasn't interested in his own lunch today - all he wanted was Mummy's beans on toast. He is very emphatic with his pointing when he knows what he wants!
We didn't go far from the flat today, but Mummy and Leo both needed some fresh air so this afternoon Mummy had a coffee while Leo ate his satsuma and watched the buses.
Mummy made Leo his first 'pizza' today. This was his pizza face...

Socks on!

Leo is becoming increasingly interested in the process of getting dressed. Today he took his sock off - and then tried to put it back on again!

This afternoon we took a trip to the swings - Leo would happily be pushed all day.
Leo started feeling unwell late in the afternoon and developed a high temperature. Daddy managed to cheer him up a bit with his guitar.

On top of his world

Trying Daddy's hat on for size (he's getting big but not that big)

Out in the late afternoon sun, Leo laughing, clapping (recent development) and checking things out

And then surveying his domain from his mother's shoulders

Face off

The boys had a lovely Saturday lunch in the London summer sun.
Leo remains fascinated by Daddy's ears - and Daddy encourages him!
Noses are good too!

You've got to learn to stand before you can walk

Mummy and Leo went to visit baby Eva in Oval today. Leo stood at the train window all the way from Sydenham to Balham.

He was very interested in all the tube station action.
Leo threw his plate on the floor at dinner time and got very cross with himself.
After dinner Leo stood without any support for the first time!

He's electric

Today was Leo's first day at nursery - a couple of hours to settle in with Mummy there. This is part of the baby room. Leo was very excited and explored as much as he could.
When we left he was exhausted - this is his face just moments before he conked out in the car.
Leo didn't even wake up when Mummy carried him in to the flat in his carseat and put him in his cot - he normally wakes up the second the car engine stops!

Here's Leo "dancing" to the electric guitar sound in his music book.

Leo the commuter

Mummy, Daddy and Leo returned home from London Bridge at the start of rush hour. Leo was very interested by the comings and goings

But he got upset when the train opposite left the station

Before long, though, he was back to his trainspotting

Un, deux, trois!

Leo decided the best way to test his new counting book (in French, bien sur) was to chew it..
At dinner time he decided to put food back in to his fromage frais pot..
He was very disappointed with himself when he realised he'd just thrown it on the floor..

Playtime! Leo was very generous with his kisses and cuddles this evening.

10 fingers and 5 toes

Mummy and Leo had a lunch date in Crystal Palace today at Domali's. Leo decided he needed both hands and his right foot to eat.
When nap time came he snoozed in the park and made sure his feet got some rays.
It was a hot sunny day and Mummy reflected on just how many hours she'd spent pushing Leo round the park over the past year to help him sleep.
When we got home Leo cooled off on the front lawn in his duck.
He even managed to build a tower with his stacking cups in the water!

Duck filled with cutiepuss

We tried a new place for lunch in Forest Hill. Here's little and large

And the little man looking cute

And when he finished his food he turned to his foot for dessert

The sun came out in the afternoon so Leo happily took to his duck in the front garden
