Today we went up to Amersham for a birthday tea party with Granny and Grandpa, the Booyses and Great Aunt Jane. Thomas and Lightning McQueen also played a big role

Leo loved being with everyone. 

He had some great garden time,

having Sasha reading one of his presents to him,

and getting tickle-kissed by Uncle Alex

Sleopy Leo

Leo has been sleeping refreshingly late with his jet-lag. Here was his happy face when Mummy woke him up at 8.15 this morning.

It was torrential rain for most of the day but Leo didn't care - he just wanted to play with his train tracks.

He refused to take a nap at his usual time - then fell asleep mid-sentence at the bus stop at 4pm.

He missed the whole bus journey to Crystal Palace.

Mummy even got to enjoy a peaceful coffee.

When he woke up Leo got to indulge another favorite hobby - checking out Thomas books in the library!

Shopping doze

Jet-lag has not been too bad but Leo suddenly fell asleep out of nowhere on a shopping trip this afternoon

And woke up a little confused 10 minutes later

It didn't take him long to perk up again

Spot the difference

Yes, after Sarah responded to a call for a doctor on board and helped out a boy with a stomachache, the cabin crew thanked her by moving all of of us up to first class. Leo got a lot of use out of his DVD player (thankfully)

and enjoyed delicious ice cream with Mummy

This afternoon, Leo took the bath ducks out on his scooter. Of course!

Hasta la vista

Our last day in Seattle started with hanging out at Zoka with Grandad and some YouTube..

Then it was in to Lake Washington to meet some ducks!

Finally there was some staring at the big plane waiting to take us back to London.
