Long Beach holiday

Three hours from Seattle, and a lot cooler, Long Beach offered us a chance to see a different part of the state, get to the ocean and explore a quirky little town. As well as Ben, Leo and Ranger splashing into the waves most days, we got up to a number of other things:

Leo got to fly a kite
very high (though he was initially reluctant to let out the string because he thought it would snap and the kite fly away)
Ranger was in heaven, off his leash, digging holes, chasing sticks, paddling and even crabbing.
They both enjoyed the dunes and the long grass.
Sarah and Leo went on an antique fair-ride, with varying degrees of enjoyment.
Leo played Mer-man
We all went horse-riding down the beach.
And it was beautiful, but more so when the skies were clear
