Little gymnast

Leo goes to Little Gym every Friday, where they have soft mats and equipment, get lots of exercise, and do some gymnastics (this week he was learning forward rolls). And the parents can sit and watch through the glass. He loves it.

Afternoon outing

We went to the other side of Seattle and had our best coffee yet in Fremont, not far from this statue of Lenin.

We then headed over to Ballard Locks to watch the salmon ladder and the boats passing between Lake Union and Lake Washington.

Birthday bike part 2

Two proud parents watched Leo have his first ride on his new bike down at Alki Beach.

And then had some fun on the beach.

Birthday bike

Mummy and Daddy finally found a moment to go and buy Leo his birthday present - his first bike. He almost went for the heavier bike because it had a robot on it, but happily he ultimately went with our suggestion of this orange number.

And the rode it out to the car.

More climbing

Our new gym has a climbing wall. Leo might try out the Saturday morning Kids Climb sometime; for now, Daddy helped Leo explore the wall.

The local school, 200m away, opens its playground at the weeekebd for local families. The school only opened last week and the playground is great.

Boardwalkers

We took a ride on a funny family bike along the Alki boardwalk and waterfront
The skies are still blue
And Daddy is loving being able to spend so much time with his family
