Friends

Lots of cosy home time while it was wet and grey outside
When he wasn't being a lunatic toddler he was looking like a teenage delinquent
Leo doing the Makoton sign for "friends"

Showtime

Leo went to the theatre for the first time to see a show which told four stories by Julia Donaldson (of Gruffalo fame).
These are shots before the lights went down when we were explaining about the stage etc. He seemed to really enjoy it - focused for the whole hour, except when he got hungry.

Playing hide and seek at the bus stop.
He found the loud Boos very funny.

Rainy July

Today was very rainy - it felt more like November than July!
Leo and Mummy had fun in the rain pulling faces!
Leo then spent more than an hour putting together his new under-the-sea Lego set.

On the shoulders of parents

The alternative to uppyget is to put Leo on the shoulders - it can provide a much-needed rest for the left bicep and shoulder. Sometimes he holds on a little tightly around the neck
Other times, he sweetly strokes your hair
Or, a bit less sweetly, ruffles it

Pil-Leo-n

We were so busy having fun in the pool that there's not many photos today. Here's Leo keeping warm as pillion passenger.
Enjoying his first jacuzzi bath

Oh, and a cuddle pile of fluffy young ducks we saw on our evening nature walk

Forest flyer

Daddy and Leo were up early and went out to discover the forest
Oops, about to fall off..
"I didn't steer very well, Daddy"

We did an adventure walk too
This way!
Who needs a pedalo when you can get an electric boat and soak up the sun
Easy to steer
All it was missing was a toilet
"Would you like to play with my Thomas ball, Mrs Duck?"

Holibobs

We arrived for our first Center Parcs experience, which included first time in a bike
Measuring Leo at a metre tall
And al fresco dining
