Crafty boy

This morning, Leo showed Daddy his arts and crafts skills. This includes painting with his hands
And painting on his hands

Bits of Saturday

Leo and Mummy went for a walk this afternoon. Leo insisted he needed his shades.
He quickly changed his shades to special vision glasses he got free with his magazine.
Today Leo revealed that he can open the stair gate all by himself.. Oh no!
Bath time was a Bob the Builder affair!

More portraits

Leo was messily ill yesterday evening with a bout of food poisoning, and none of us got much sleep. So Leo was in no fit state for nursery and stayed home with Daddy, but he Leo had his appetite back by lunchtime.

With Daddy trying to work and housebound, and Leo recovering, it was mostly about puzzles, TV and napping. So Daddy just snapped a few more portraits of Leo watching TV.

Furry friends

Leo and Popi hanging out
"Look at my new Spanish Thomas DVD, Popi"
"Let's watch it"
Leo has been doing a pre-bath wee on his potty most evenings and is on the road to grown-up pants. We managed to get him to briefly try the pants Grandma gave him - "hello Grandma"
New fluffy Gruffalo socks for keeping sleeping Leo-feet warm in the winter.

Blowing his trumpet

That laser-like Leo focus on playgroup sandpit play
Reading with Grandad, before he and Grandma fly back to Seattle in the morning :-(
Today's charity shop find was a Peppa Pig musical instrument collection
Peppa Maracas? Really?!
Leo likes to blow his own Peppa Pig trumpet

The wheels on the bus

Leo went up to London with Mummy while Daddy continued resting his foot. Right from the off, it was wet.
They met Grandma and Grandad at the London Transport Museum.
Then it was back to Grandma and Grandad's hotel for lunch
... and a nap

MowgLeo

Leo got to watch a bit of Daddy's childhood favourite film, The Jungle Book.
To Daddy's delight, Leo really enjoyed it and even started singing along to The Bare Necessities.
And here he is laughing when Baloo uproots a tree to itch his back with.

Spinning away

The nursery said Leo has chicken pox and asked for him to be picked up before lunch (we're not yet convinced of the diagnosis and happily he seems his normal self and comfortable).

Luckily, Grandma and Grandad were able to pick him up and took him out for a walk, where he got a magazine which included a spinning flying saucer.

Not ready for bed

Leo got picked up from nursery by Grandma and Grandad today. Unfortunately, they had to wait 20 minutes for a bus.
Pitch black outside at 7pm and we thought it was time for Leo's pyjamas and bedtime stories. Leo thought it was time to go and find some muddy puddles.
