Back in the swing of things

I kept Leo away from baby groups again today so he wouldn't spread his germs. It probably wasn't necessary because it soon became apparent that he was back to his usual happy self. He had a fantastic time on the swings in the park.

I'm not sure chewing the seat was a good idea..
It was lovely to see him smile (yes he does still have porridge all over his face from breakfast - oops)!

The lunch is greener on the other side

Leo is still recovering from being a bit under the weather, so today we stayed away from the baby groups and went and met Ben for lunch. Leo thought Daddy's lunch was much more interesting than his own..

Leo the explorer

Today I took Leo to soft play at Crystal Palace Sports Centre for the first time. He thought it was brilliant - he got so excited by all the new things to explore. It was lovely to have such a huge safe space to let him loose on!

3 meals a day

Leo had a breakfast wrestle with his bib. He seemed quite fascinated by it today..

 Happy lunchtime face!
Flashing his 5 teeth at dinner!

Bank Holiday Funday

Today was a Bank Holiday; Leo decided to make up for his 5.30am start with a relaxing nap later on in the morning.
We went up to the Barbican Centre this afternoon and had some lunch. Leo loved sharing a Monday with his Daddy.
For some reason Leo thinks his neoprene super-bib is very tasty.
Leo also enjoys banging his hands on the table at mealtimes.

Steamtrain Leo

The three of us went up to Granny and Grandpa in Amersham today. The sun meant we could enjoy the beautiful garden, even Nelly the elephant. We also enjoyed looking at a steam train puffing away and pulling a carriage from the 19th century.

Spitalboy

We went up to Spitalfields today so that Sarah could get her hair cut.

Here's Leo having lunch in his pram at a roadside coffee shop, and then back with Mummy after her cut at Pimps and Pinups.

Finally, Leo doing the hokey-cokey before bathtime.

Happy Shopper

Leo can definitely stand up on his own now! This is his favourite new activity when he's hanging out in his cot.

Mummy had to go to the supermarket and Leo had a fantastic time sitting in the trolley. He charmed lots of shoppers with his toothy grin.
When Daddy got home he joined Leo in his playpen. Leo is enjoying climbing on people.
After his play session Leo relaxed with the latest edition of the British Medical Journal.

My first football and raspberry giggles.

Leo slept until 8am this morning!!! He woke up looking very refreshed.

Mummy blowing raspberries made Leo giggle at lunchtime.

He enjoyed looking out of the window on the train when we went to see his friends Nell and Luka in Herne Hill.
Today Leo got his very first football which made him giggle for ages for some reason!

Gnasher

Leo has the cheekiest grin! He just loves showing off his brand new teeth.
Bedtime stories with Daddy are always happy times for Leo. He's getting big enough to take up his own seat on the couch!

Leo's new pen

Leo has been getting increasingly difficult to wrangle in our very child-unfriendly flat. Today his new play-pen arrived so we don't have to keep one hand on him at all times! He seemed to like it and spent lots of time trying to pull himself up.
