Cousin time at the mall - after the plan to occupy them with a movie for two hours fell foul of a local power cut, there was container stores, ice cream and buggies made for two.

Outdoor pursuits

Daddy made the most of his holiday to get some quality boy time with Leo, trying out the football nets and cones Leo gave him as well as a bike ride.

Proper toy time

Boxing Day provided good quiet time to play with presents, including his jigsaw and science kit

There was even time for a rare craft activity as Daddy helped Leo make a garage for his many hot wheels cars with the toilet rolls he'd been putting aside for two weeks (more toilet rolls / parking spaces still to be collected and added)

Christmas Day

Began in PJs with many presents

Continued with straw glasses

And ended with discovering crackers

Over for Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandad's, and Leo rediscovered his Poopyhead game.

Leo and Mummy came to Daddy's work for a "Holiday Characters Breakfast", where he met Anna from Frozen and the new Hawaiian princess, Moana. He was initially awestruck / very shy, but warmed to them.

Sickday

Poor Mummy had food poisoning so Daddy had to work from home and entertain Leo, and was proud of the sprawling tracks he set up.

No prizes for guessing what colour sweet Leo had on the way to a beachside coffee.

Leo and Isobel went to a party where the mum who organised it had made 20 sleighs out of cardboard boxes and tinsel for all the kids. Very impressive!
