Soft player

Leo was full of beans this morning and mummy wasn't feeling tip top, so a trip to soft play seemed like the ideal solution!
Leo soon had enough confidence to climb all the way up to the top by himself!
He then decided he needed a break - and demanded a high chair! This was the first time in at least 6 months that he's sat in one.
After nap time Leo wasn't very keen on having his photo taken!
This was his "I'm fed up of sainsburys" face!

Under the weather

Leo wasn't feeling tip top today - he had a rotten night and has a stinky cold. He had a quiet time at Playgroup reading Thomas books..
...and playing with trains (just like at home!).
Fortunately Leo felt much better by dinner time and was happily tucking in to some hot scrambled eggs "blow!".

New park

With Mummy at work again, Leo and Daddy (and Popi) had some lazy Sunday sofa fun with Lightning McQueen and Cars.
But we got outside in the sun too. "Right, let's do it!"
We went up the hill to Wells Park, which Leo hasn't been in since he was a baby.
Best foot(s) forward
Playing his own version of zip-line
Blowing dandelions
And squealing around a foutain
Ooo, look at that one!

The Mummy Returns

Mummy was at work today and Daddy went out buggy-less on his own for the first time with Leo
A bit of al fresco puzzling
Excitement at Mummy returning from work!
And a big hug - awww!
"Now, where was my puzzle.."

Stuck in groan

Leo dashed through the door from nursery and grabbed 2 of his favorite things - a fromage frais and a puzzle. He quickly sported a fromage frais beard.
When Leo learnt that Daddy's flight back from Rome was delayed he got rather worried. "Daddy stuck in Groan! Get a new plane! Daddy get a new plane!"
Fortunately Mummy was able to reassure him that Daddy would be back later.

Leo said goodbye to the circus

Leo was unimpressed by the traffic jam on the way home from nursery.
When we got home Leo stripped off his t-shirt (for reasons best known to himself) and sang Nelly the Elephant loudly.
He wanted to show everyone his red car.
When Daddy got home Leo asked to put his sunglasses on.
Then he tried on Daddy's new shoes (on the wrong feet) and picked up Daddy's umbrella. He was very please with himself.

Pirate Leo

Leo is really getting the hang of the idea! Pirate Pete's Potty makes the perfect reading material.
Unfortunately he was in defiant mood for most of the morning - he spent most of our trip to the bus stop in this position...
Fortunately lunch and a nap cheered him up, and this afternoon he was in the mood for blowing kisses at the camera.
Leo wanted to push the trolley round Sainsburys himself.
His reward for being so helpful was a yummy toasted tea cake (which Leo picked all of the fruit of to eat).

Thomas book worm

We went all the way to Little Fish Playgroup so Leo could sit in the book corner and read Thomas books!
Leo wanted to push the buggy home all by himself!
Leo has been getting very creative building Duplo trains.
He found a collection of 5 Thomas books in a local charity shop, much to his delight. He took mummy to a cafe to read them.
Leo is still getting the hang of brushing his teeth..

Bouncy bouncy

Leo makes Daddy laugh by playing bouncy bouncy
Then takes it to the next level
And the next
At least one of us is satisfied..
(By the way, in the background is the new IKEA storage solution of yesterday's blog, which we'll be able to pay for ebaying the high chair he hasn't sat in for months).

Triple-selfies to finish the weekend
