Country fairest

Today was the annual Lambeth Country Fair. Leo was delighted to get on board the bus

He also enjoyed seeing a fire engine, stroking a police horse and then getting locked up in the back of a police van. 

Then the heavens opened, and opened some more. Luckily we were in a tent with sheep, hay bales and childrens' books at the time. But eventually we had to leave. 

The buses were all full so we walked all the way to from Herne Hill to Crystal Palace Parade. We stopped for Leo's dinner on the way home - a cheese and ham sandwich from Tesco, tucked neatly into the back between him and Mummy. Here he is just before he started smearing ham and mayonnaise on Mummy's back.

This afternoon, Leo and Daddy found a local conservation area and went for a nature walk

Here's Leo getting very excited about the "racing car" stickers Grandma and Grandad sent him. His table is now decorated with them!

More reports of how clever Leo is from nursery today - the staff are particularly impressed with his language. "I draw Thomas! I draw Peppa!" and endless reciting of Incy Wincy Spider in full!

Here Leo is on the way home from nursery, horrified the bin has fallen down.. "Ohhhhh nooooo!"

I full of beans!

Leo has well and truly mastered "I"! "I full of beans!" (loudly in the Co-op); "I go shopping, see you later!" (when running away from the flat dragging his Thomas bag). Leo comes out with all sorts..
