Hands up!

It was a boys day today, Daddy and Leo hanging out while Mummy was at work. The games started while we were still in PJs

And here's Leo doing his unsupported standing.

Leo did a lot of sticking his arms up in the air today for some reason.

Out in the buggy snacking away (he likes holding the bottle on his own these days).

We made it for the last 15 minutes of the "Diddy Dinos" playgroup at Crystal Palace park and that was enough for some fun.

Settling in

Poor Leo was tired this morning before getting to nursery.

Nevertheless, he came out pretty chipper, apparently not having cried all day.

The staff are very impressed and fond of him. Who can blame them?

The nursery is close to where Leo's great grandmother used to live. On the way home, Daddy took Leo to see Grannie's house and tell him about her.

For dinner, Leo ate his curry with his fingers, just like people in India.

And finally, reunited with Mummy..

Day of firsts

Mummy's first day back at work today and Leo's first full day at nursery, so Daddy's taken a few days off work while we all transition to a new stage.

When it came to Daddy dropping Leo, off there were plenty of tears, only some of which were Leo's. But apparently he did very well, ate lots and played contentedly.

Here's a shot before, when he'd just woken up

And here he is safely back at home, helping Daddy play the guitar.

Finally, here he is reunited with Mummy (and looking knackered)

Bib-leo-phile

Leo's favourite books include Tabby McTat and Owl Babies. He loves sitting on the sofa with Mummy and turning the pages. We're so glad he's such a bibliophile!

These are Leo's newly labelled clothes ready for nursery tomorrow!

Spec saver

Leo has liked pulling Mummy's glasses off for a while - his new trick is trying to put them back on!

Chip cutie

Leo enjoyed Peekaboo with Mummy in the back garden of Domali's

and helped out with the chips

Then on the way home, he had fun on the swings

Wrestle-mania

Lots of walking out in the sun today as we scouted for Leo's birthday party venue. Leo kept his jungle hat on for a record two minutes!

Back at the ranch there was plenty of time for wrestling in the playroom. I think we all knew who won this round..

First day

Today was Leo's first morning alone at nursery! He managed very well - but all the excitement tired him out!

Fortunately his still found some energy for a good play with Mummy.

Today Leo is 11 months old!
