Cheese beard

Breakfast today - Leo and his cucumber cigar.

Lunch was cream cheese on toast and melon. Leo managed to make himself a cheese beard.

I want to do it!

Leo is very determined to feed himself! He did pretty well today at breakfast time with natural yoghurt mixed with pureed mango.

After nap time Leo and I had a roll around and pulled silly faces.

Leo loves listening to Ben play the guitar - but these days he wants to play too!

Peekaboo!

Leo had an unusually long two-hour nap this morning in his cot. Look how fresh he looked on finally waking...

Leo likes pulling his hat down over his face, like some kind of game of peekaboo with himself. Today he was laughing at himself like a maniac as he did it.

And also a shot of him stretching out on the baby gym that he is gradually outgrowing.

Finally, some more footage of Leo's adorable giggles, this time at bathtime

Snow joke in March

Today has been unseasonably cold for March. We've endured snow, wind and sub-zero temperatures. To top it off we have a broken boiler which can't be fixed for a few days. To cheer ourselves up and keep warm, Leo and I headed up to Crystal Palace and spent a happy afternoon in Cafe Nero. Leo LOVES having his photo taken, especially if he can see himself on the screen.

Plus vite papa!

Breakfast time in the Laing-Wallis household is getting pretty messy. Leo is really enjoying feeding himself. He still needs a little bit of practice in spoon accuracy. Today he enjoyed melon, pineapple, pear and porridge.

Ben finished the Crystal Palace Park 10k in personal best time of 44 minutes and 33 seconds, and Leo was the first to congratulate him.

Laughter

We all had lunch with Jodie up in Crystal Palace. Leo demolished several tomatoes.

This is Leo joining in with the cat hunt, trying to look at his daddy who has just found a white and tabby cat to stroke.

And we wanted a record of his wonderful laughter.
