Beach buggy

The sun was up when we woke up, so the three of us went for a 7.30am run along the promenade west out of Whitstable.  Leo was wrapped up warm in his running buggy.
...enjoying the views...
and, inevitably, removing his shoes.

The joys of babies and colds. Especially when they suck in and out with his breathing..

And then happy to be back in his playroom in Sydenham.

Sea air snooze

Leo is enjoying his wet weekend in Whitstable! At lunch time he voted for lunch at the Windy Stores Cafe because he got to try out a proper wooden high chair and toy!

After lunch Leo thought a bracing walk along the sea front would be a good idea.
It wasn't long before the fresh sea air sent him off to sleep!
Leo tried to teach Daddy how to draw!
He wasn't impressed with Daddy's efforts..
He had to ask the waitress for more paper so he could start again.

At dinner time Leo enjoyed teaching Daddy how to eat a pot of fromage frais..

Wetstable

Leo had his morning nap on the way to a rainy Whitstable. Here he what he looks like about a minute before he goes to sleep.
And here's what he looks like when he's just woken up.
Leo had a great time exploring our Whitstable apartment. Here he is in a bathroom basket.
And, with apologies for the bare flesh, here he is enjoying a proper bath with Daddy.

Sipping like Daddy

Leo likes a drink, but particularly from daddy's water bottle. Here he is tucking in on the bus back from nursery.

Then he had fun at bathtime with mummy

Can't think of a punny title

Poor Leo has developed quite the stinker of a cold. As a result, he was up before 6am and only soothed by lots of mummy cuddles and an impromptu unplugged concert from Daddy.

By the time he got home he was pretty exhausted, but he did manage a bit of fun in his playroom.
He likes picking up the ball in his mouth, dog-style, so daddy tried it too.

Fun and games

Poor little Leo is back under the weather again today. Fortunately he managed to keep his spirits up with some of his favourite games:
Pointing at Mummy!
Crawling through his tunnel!
Pulling up behind Mummy and 'hiding'; he giggles heartily when asked "where's Leo??"..
Trying to figure out how to escape!
