Reading and playing

This little boy loves his books. Today he was taking his books down from his bedtime reading pile and leafing through them on the floor.

Leo is taking more control of mealtimes these days. At lunch he was enjoying his new "threaten to throw the cup on the floor" game.

You can see he was rather pleased with himself..

At dinner Mummy spent ages making hard boiled egg, new potatoes, brocolli and carrots. Leo threw them all on the floor and only wanted to eat yoghurt..

Benjamin James went down with Leo

We went up to introduce Leo to the Queen today, checking out Buckingham Palace and then picnicking in St James' Park. Lots of fun eating lunch on the blanket and then rolling around on it afterwards.

Swingtastic

Today was Leo's first ride on a swing, as well as being pushed round a roundabout by Mummy and a little French girl. We think he'd like to go back to the playground again soon.

Daddy is back!

Leo has taken to waking up at 5.30am this week. While this is far too early for Mummy, Leo seems quite content with seeing the crack of dawn.
Leo and Mummy went to the park this afternoon. Leo thought the sound of the geese honking was very funny.
Leo was very excited that Daddy got home from Paris this evening. The boys celebrated their reunion by playing a duet.

Missing Ben

Ben is away in Paris at the moment; me and Leo are missing him very much.

Leo is becoming very mobile. It won't be very long before he figures out how to climb out of his bouncer.. I'll have to figure out another way of having a shower! Today he was playing bouncer peek-a-boo

Book worm

This little boy just loves his books. This morning he was reading his French book "Petit Ours Brun". He can turn all the pages, and press the buttons for the animal noises.

He's enjoying learning how to pull himself up!

This afternoon he played with his friend Hector. They were both fascinated by the caterpillar toy!

Time for Leo-proofing

Today was Leo's Sing and Sign class. Leo prepared himself with a good lunch in the Cafe first. He's one of the most enthusiastic participants (both in signing and in lunch!).
When we got home Leo had some good play time. He loves his stacking cups, playing peek-a-boo with his rabbit, and practicing his crawling. He also managed to pull the DVDs off the shelf, pull my laptop off the sofa and grab the wireless router. It's going to take a lot of work to Leo-proof our flat!

Dinner was enthusiastically received as ever. Today Mummy made banana and blueberry pancakes (following on from the success of the cheddar and carrot ones we tried yesterday).
Leo got ready for bed and enjoyed a story with Daddy. He loves his books.
