Meat!

Demolishing the baby gym this afternoon! Leo is completely obsessed with the removable mirror, and spends most of his play time pulling it off and looking at himself.

 First taste of meat! Chicken, mash and sweetcorn in mush form.

Bouncy boy

 He's a bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy boy.

These days he likes to pull his hat over his eyes so he can have an undisturbed nap in the pram.

Mr Wrigglepants

Leo and I had some fun this morning playing with his stacking cups on the floor. He can almost sit up without any support - but not quite!

This afternoon we were back at baby massage. Leo made it quite tricky to practice tummy and chest massage - he preferred lying on his front so he could watch the instructor too.

A mind of his own

This week Leo and I are acting as guinea pigs for trainee baby massage instructors with some of our NCT friends. I was meant to give Leo a lovely relaxing leg massage under instruction but he preferred doing lots of flipping over, grinning at the trainees, rolling round the room and chatting baa baa baa daa daa daa.

 When we got home Leo fed himself some scrambled egg and tomato for tea.

 He had his bath with Daddy and enjoyed eating his toes.

 Daddy always makes Leo smile.

At bedtime Leo enjoyed his new book The Highway Rat.

Riverside boy

 Leo came up to the river with Mummy, and Daddy came out to see them both

 

And here's a baby who loves brushing his teeth.

Family Day Out

Up to Amersham today for a big family get-together, and to see Ben's parents' lovely new home.

Leo loved the attention and seeing so many Wallis-Laing-Booyse-Elleys in one place, including: 

- here with his great uncle at Pizza Express

 

- and back at the ranch with the cousins

iWant One

Ben, Leo and I hung out in Cafe Cuba in Crystal Palace today. We have a feeling Leo will be asking for his own iPhone soon..
