Reunited

The skies had cleared and Mummy and Daddy were able to make it back to Seattle. See our seaplane landing just behind us:
So we had some great views on the way home, of islands and the coastline as well as the Seattle skyline as we came into land.
It was good to be back with Leo, though, including seeing him with Isobel when she came round to play.
And here we are, getting ready for a family bedtime, the three of us together again.

Stranded

Weather conditions meant that Mummy and Daddy couldn't fly home and had to stay another night on San Juan Island. We got to relax and meander, including some winning bowling from Sarah.
And we got to catch up with Leo and the super-sitters, Grandma and Grandad, via iPhone video calling.

Up, up and away

Mummy and Daddy took off for a night up in the San Juan Islands by seaplane..

(..although, due to bad visibility we were returned to base and had to take a "wheeled-plane" from Boeing Field instead. The wheeled planes have radar and can cope with poor visibility but it was still a pretty hairy landing!)

Later, we went out for dinner a deux
Meanwhile, Leo coped with the parting and had fun with Grandma and Grandad, including some bagel love.

Separately, the sneak peeks were in from the shoot and his biased parents think Leo is very photogenic.

Photo shoot

Today we had a family photo shoot out at Discovery Park. Despite his protestations, Leo enjoyed getting his photo taken.
He also got some time with Grandad playing with the sand.
Afterwards, we ended up in a Tesla showroom where Leo put the electric cars through their paces
All in all, another cute day

Happy Birthday!

It was Isobel's first birthday today
and of course Leo wanted to help unwrap presents
Leo also helped Mummy and Daddy by opting for the "racing car" trolley at the mall

Resolution

New Year's Day means the annual Resolution Run, and out to support Mummy, Rich, Danielle and Makennah (Daddy having a year off post foot surgery)
It was very cold and beautifully clear so Leo dressed up in his Christmas hat and gloves.
Looking cute when we went for the traditional coffee and Zoka bar after the run
Uncle Richard telling it like it is
Decorating gingerbread men
And blowing cracker whistles at a new year's dinner

Supermarket sweet

Helping Grandma with the supermarket shop

Off for an early dinner with 'Kenna.

In the evening we went to the zoo lights, which was more about the pretty lights than actual animals, though here is Leo with a meerman.
He could only last so long..
