Mucky puddles

After a very wakeful night, Leo decided the best way to get over his jetlag was to get some fresh air and daylight in the park
The moon was up and Leo enjoyed pointing at the sky, shouting "mooooooon!".

Daddy and Leo had fun chasing around the tunnels!

Leo had a great time testing his new waterproof gear in the mucky puddles! He even seemed to be getting over his dislike of dirty hands!

Cats! Cats! Cats! Cats! Cats!

Leo and Popi have quickly become firm friends since we got back to London. Leo calls Popi by his name now, and Popi is so delighted not to be confused with his brother that he's been allowing Leo a tummy rub or two..

Popi isn't so sure about having his tail pulled..
So Leo chases him to say sorry on all fours..

Homeward-bound

Before we left, some of Mummy's old toys appeared for Leo to play with. Here's Leo with Mummy's two "pull-its".
He was more interested in watching Grandad pull it than pulling it himself.
And then on to our long journey home. Almost there now.
Passport control.
And the taxi-ride home. A little snooze won't hurt...

Ponyboy

Leo's hair is almost long enough for a ponytail...
Slowest slide in the world!
In the afternoon, Mummy and Daddy visited Leo's new cousin, Isobel..
..while Leo enjoyed a lovely sunset in the park with Grandma and Grandad

Family cuddles

Leo wants to be just like his Daddy - and that means copying Daddy's muscle stretching on the big roller!

Leo was a reluctant participant in family cuddles.
But eventually he did say "Cheese!"

Tongue-sticker

This morning was the Resolution Run, which saw Daddy, Mummy and Makennah finishing their New Year run with a dip in Lake Washington.
In the meantime, Leo was back down to the marina with Grandma and Grandad.
This afternoon we went next door to visit the neighbours and Leo has great fun climbing stairs.
At dinner time, Uncle Richard and Makennah taught Leo about sticking your tongue out. Looks like Leo will be playing that game again.

Duck frenzy

Duck frenzy down by the marina.

More garden exploring with Grandad.
Happy New Year from me!
