Making fun of Daddy

Daddy got up with Leo this morning so Mummy could have some extra sleep time. Daddy kept rubbing his head because he was tired - Leo thought it was hilarious and kept copying him.
Mummy and Daddy took Leo out for a run around Crystal Palace Park in his new running pram. He had a great time and kept squealing with glee.

After our run we went out to the Blue Mountain Cafe in Sydenham for lunch. It happened to be the Sydenham Arts Festival today and we got to enjoy an interesting local music act while we ate.. You can hear it in the background of the video.

Leo continues to be interested in pushing buttons and switches. Today he discovered the call bell on the bus!
At dinner time Leo took the opportunity to make fun of Daddy again.

Bye bye Cornwall

We were travelling home most of the day so not many photos. Here we are just before hitting the road, bidding farewell to Marmarra which provided a great home from home for the week.

Leo got distracted by Mummy's lovely hair though

Coffee house boy

It was a cloudy start to the day so Leo suggested going back to our new favourite coffee shop in Wadebridge. Leo is enjoying books more than ever and he insisted that Daddy read one of the books he found in the coffee shop several times. Leo will now fetch one of his own books by name if you ask him to go and get it!

After lunch we went for a walk to Daymer Bay. Leo napped most of the way and Ben helpfully pointed out the beach.

We then went on a trip to a local farm to show Leo bunnies, goat, sheep and..wallabies! Mummy and Daddy enjoyed the zip-line the best.
Leo thought it was a great spectator sport.

Watergate day

Today we treated ourselves to lunch at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen, where we had the last dinner of our honeymoon two years and two days ago.

It was Leo's first fine dining experience and he enjoyed sampling:
-fresh italian mozzarella

- cornish ribeye steak

- and very juicy raspberries

He also had the lunch we bought with us and 90+ minutes of eating made an impressive mess on the floor of this classy restaurant.

What could be a better way to crown it off than being taken on the beach to sleep on Mummy's chest.

Soggy day

Yesterday's sun became today's rain. Luckily, Leo really does love going to the supermarket and riding in the trolley.

While Mummy was off getting a much-deserved massage, Daddy took Leo put for a walk in the rain. Happily, the rain cover on the new pram was effective.

Storytime with Mummy.

And here's the three of us in group hug mode

Bicycle diaries

Back to the best coffee in north Cornwall in Padstow today, with Leo entertaining allcomers as per usual.

Then to the Rick Stein fish and chip shop, where Leo tested the chips. They were to his satisfaction.

Finally, we went on a 12-mile bike ride along the Camel Trail, Leo pulled behind Daddy.

When he wasn't asleep, Leo largely enjoyed the sweeping views of the estuary, only complaining once when he got a little off wonky.

Overall, a great day full of exercise, views and unexpected afternoon sun.
