The college which Leo's pre-school is a part of held its Halloween Monster Dash. It was cold, wet and (costumes aside) grey. Mummy and Leo did a bit of the grown-ups 5K and then focused on cheering Daddy on. The post-race shot.
Then it was time for the kids' Dash, where they "dash" after an orange monster.

Then a couple of hours more in Legoland before heading home.

We noticed on the bus how long Leo is getting
Today, we went on our Southern California mini-break to celebrate and spend time with each other before Daddy starts work on Monday. How often do you get to ride a convertible Beetle down the freeway. It was a visceral experience and a fun way to start the holiday.
There was time and a bit of sun left to take a dip in the pool once we'd arrived, which Mummy watched from the comfort of the sunbed.
