It was a long, exhausting day emptying the flat. Leo was pretty patient and deserved some down time on the front lawn with his parents

With an empty flat, we headed to our Airbnb, where Leo admired the patio.

It was a perfect sunny afternoon to celebrate Leo's birthday and to celebrate some quality Wallis time together before we head to Seattle. Leo loved his presents

Today was Leo's birthday party with his friends. We held it at the local children's centre - the indoor soft play and Avengers cake were big hits!

Leo requested a play date with Maya at 8am. Luckily she was free to hang out with him.

Leo helped take Maxi to the vet this morning for his vaccinations.

It was 35 degrees this afternoon so Leo got to go bowling for the first time (air con!).

They had arcade games too..

Leo met his friend Maya at South Norwood Lakes for some play and musical storytelling.

They were captivated.

Bye bye Teddies

Today was another landmark - Leo's last day at his nursery, Teddies, after 3 years and 3 weeks. He was very excited to take in a cake and card to thank the staff. 

They gave us his development books they had kept during his nursery career - a little book and then one for each of the rooms he's been in, each with a mugshot on the front.

We met up with Uncle David, Aunty Fiona and Gordon, Duncan and Ewan for lunch.
