On the mend

Leo had another day off nursery - "I'm very ill mummy" - but thankfully he is very much on the mend.

He insisted on a buggy nap despite being too tall to lie in it stretched out.

Poorly

Poor Leo isn't well. He managed to vomit all over Daddy at 4.30am while Mummy was on the phone to work, so Mummy and Daddy split the day at home with him. 

It went mostly like this:

"NO PHOTO MUMMY!!"

Buses and trains

Leo and Daddy went to meet Daddy's friend Charlotte at the London Transport Museum.

Daddy and Leo played with one of his Princess puzzles at lunch..

..while Iris and Max did two more of his Princess puzzles. 

Happy to be reunited after Mummy's three days at work. 

Spring is here

Leo likes to "make noise", which means banging together these two gardening canes. 

We picked daisies and I put his behind his ear. 

Daddy Friday

The first of three Daddy-Leo days while Mummy works the first of two long weekends. The boys had fun, starting at soft play. 

Leo was hoping that Maya would be there, a girl he made friends with at soft play last week. And she was!

"Daddy, you go on that slide"

Wheeeee!

In the afternoon, Daddy got his first experience of the Happy Faces hairdresser. Leo was an old pro. 

The finished product

When we got home, Leo caught up with Toto outside and told him how he'd had his hair cut in Thomas.

And he made pasta bolognese with Daddy on the stove (and then ate it all up)

Baker

Leo rolled up his sleeves, tied his hair back, put his apron on, and got baking this afternoon.

Peppa Leo

Leo kicks back after a busy day at nursery with a few Christmas episodes of Peppa Pig!

No place like home

Mummy wasn't much of a photographer this evening - it was a mad dash from Chelsea to collect Leo!

When Leo got home all he wanted to do was chase Toto...and let Toto chase him.

Bath time was mostly pulling faces.

Pepper pig

Exploring the new story CDs handed down by his cousins yesterday. He can already sing along to the Noddy theme tune. 

After dinner, Daddy was doing dinner prep. Leo was still hungry. The bits of the pepper you can't see are what Leo are.

Cousin time

An Amersham day to celebrate Daddy's birthday and lots of playing with cousins at lunch.

This afternoon, Leo went to the birthday party of his neighbour, Ffion. They had soft play

In retrospect

A bit late because Mummy and Daddy went out last night (hurrah!).

Yesterday was mostly this:

"I'm getting very cross Mummy"

Leo can be very dramatic when he doesn't get exactly what he wants. He's pretty stubborn too.

Here he is on the pavement when Mummy refused to spend £5 on a Bob the Builder magazine..

Mummy proved more stubborn than Leo..
