Bedtime story changes

We have gone down to one sofa, at least for now, so the bedroom sofa is in the lounge which means changes for bedtime stories. We suggested Leo's bedroom but he preferred ours. This evening, he wanted to learn about the body.

The Christmas fun has already begun, with Leo getting in the spirit with a crafting magazine today.

We had a great day out at the theatre (Stick Man, a Julia Donaldson book) and then lunch in Soho. But we both forgot our cameras, so here's Leo in his slippers on the scales.

We had to wait for the boiler man today so we couldn't make our craft class - Leo had to make do with crafts at home.

Tired and grumpy boy

Leo was one tired boy today. On the way home from his craft class this morning he sobbed because Mummy said he could go to the toy shop (to choose his friend's birthday present) this afternoon.

He refused to nap at lunch time - declaring "I hate you Mummy" at the suggestion.

He crashed - exhausted - at the end of the afternoon.

In the car this morning, Leo told Mummy that "I'm wearing my sunglasses like Daddy does sometimes"

Recently, it seemed like the era of Leo running to greet Daddy when he gets home. But today Daddy got a lovely greeting.

Slow start

Almost a week on from getting back from Seattle, and Leo is still struggling with mornings. This was him on Mummy's 4th attempt to get him up - "I want to sleep Mummy" - at 8.15am.

Fortunately he had a brilliant day at nursery and was very proud that he'd baked "fairy cupcakes".

If you go down to the woods today

Leo has gone down to 3 days a week at nursery and Monday is now a Mummy and Leo day. Mummy took Leo to a new forest explorers toddler group today. Leo hated it for some reason and constantly asked to leave. We left half way through the 2 hours. Epic Monday fail.
